Diaspora.
The drying autumn winds caress the expanding pod. It ripens, splits and bursts, dispersing its' precious cargo of seeds.
Seemingly randomly they float away on the breezes. The lucky ones will come to land in a nurturing environment and produce their next generation.
The spiral of life process...on and on it goes...where it ends...who knows?
