Moons of Jupiter expedition series - Ganymede revealed unexpected amazements. A flora was not anticipated. This is just one extraordinary night bloomer. The petals opened slowly and the inner pod began emanating a phosphorescence bearing luminous spore. Samples have been taken back to the Biodome for research and I anticipate new compounds & active principles will be added to the compendium from this species which seems to be partly animal. I have named it unamagnifica ganymedeensis for Una Woodruff, the inspiring 20th c. Earth artist who conceived the Flora and Fauna of Atlantis in her beautiful work Amarante. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
