Cavern of the Glowworms

Walking thru the rainforest on that bright full moon night we followed the whispering silvering creek.

Then, ducking down under a rocky arch, we found a wondrous cave [link] where the waterfall streamed thru in a perfect crystal moonstruck column straight down into a dark circular pool.

The scintillating moires of the reflections jitzed the cave ceiling and walls with dancing lights.

The waterfall's song echoed profoundly, amplified by the egg-like cavern walls.

Then, further in at the back of the cave we saw it was all alight with glowworms. They bejewelled the ceiling, suspended glowing orbs in coned webs.

I'll never forget the magic of that full moon night
